Jeff hogs it out
The Instigator starts the project off on October 1, 2005. Jeff hauled the 16" blank out of long term storage and started hogging it. Like Tom Sawyer painting a fence, he soon had help from his friends.

Ronchigram positioned outside the ROC on August 8, 2011. Shows some residual turned down edge from the early machine polishing, but this should clear up as the outer zones of the mirror are completely polished out. Otherwise a nice smooth surface.
